Bangkok
he climate graph for Bangkok showcases the city's average weather patterns over the course of a year. The data is divided into three series:
Minimum Temperature: This data represents the average low temperatures each month. Bangkok enjoys a relatively warm climate throughout the year, with temperatures ranging from a mild 25°C in the cooler months (Jan, Dec) to around 28°C during the hotter months from April to September. The line for minimum temperatures is displayed in dark green with a light green fill.
Maximum Temperature: The maximum temperatures fluctuate between 31°C and 35°C, with the highest temperatures occurring in April through June. The line representing the maximum temperatures is in a slightly brighter green, showing the warmth of the region during the peak months. It also has a lighter green fill for clarity.
Precipitation: Rainfall in Bangkok is significant during the rainy season (from May to October), with the heaviest rainfall occurring between June and September. Precipitation is represented as a bar chart in light green tones, highlighting the wet season's intensity.
This chart allows readers to understand Bangkok’s tropical climate, characterized by consistent heat throughout the year, with a marked rainy season during the mid-year months.
Puket
Phuket experiences a tropical climate, characterized by warm temperatures year-round with two distinct seasons: the wet season and the dry season. The minimum temperatures throughout the year remain relatively consistent, ranging from 24°C to 26°C, while the maximum temperatures hover between 31°C and 33°C. This shows the warm, humid nature of Phuket's climate, where the temperature barely fluctuates much from month to month.
During the wet season, from May to October, the precipitation levels surge, reaching their peak in August and September, with rainfall reaching up to 250mm. In contrast, the dry months from December to April see much less rainfall, with precipitation levels dropping significantly to around 60-90mm per month. This chart helps illustrate the overall weather pattern of Phuket, where it’s a tropical destination with warm, consistent temperatures, but heavy rains during the monsoon season.
Khao Sok
Khao Sok, located in southern Thailand, is known for its tropical rainforest climate. The temperature remains warm throughout the year, with minimal variation in both maximum and minimum temperatures. The average minimum temperature stays around 22°C to 23°C, while the maximum temperature fluctuates between 28°C and 30°C. The steady temperature throughout the year is typical of tropical rainforest climates.
The most striking feature of Khao Sok's climate is the high rainfall, particularly during the monsoon season from May to October. Precipitation peaks in September and August, with rainfall reaching 280mm per month. Even in the dry season from November to April, the area experiences significant rainfall, with monthly totals still averaging around 170mm. This makes Khao Sok one of the wetter regions in Thailand, where the lush rainforest thrives throughout the year, with consistent humidity and regular rainfall.
