Antananarivo

The minimum temperatures range from 12°C in the cooler months (June to August) to 18°C during the warmer months (December and January). Maximum temperatures remain fairly stable throughout the year, ranging from 20°C in winter to 25°C during the warmer months.
Precipitation is highest from November to March, with January being the wettest month, receiving around 370 mm of rain. The dry season, from June to August, sees a significant drop in rainfall, with averages as low as 50 mm. The high rainfall and mild temperatures create an ideal environment for the region's unique wildlife, including the famous indri lemur, making Andasibe a popular destination for nature lovers and eco-tourism enthusiasts.
Tamatave
Tamatave (also known as Toamasina) is a coastal city on the eastern side of Madagascar. It experiences a tropical climate with high temperatures and abundant rainfall throughout the year. The minimum temperatures in Tamatave range from 18°C in the cooler months (June and July) to 23°C in the warmer months (January, February, and December). Maximum temperatures typically range from 25°C during the cooler months to 30°C during the hottest months.
Rainfall is significant throughout the year, with the wettest months being from November to April. January is the rainiest month, with an average of 430 mm of precipitation. The driest months occur between June and September, when rainfall can drop to 90 mm. The high rainfall supports the lush vegetation and biodiversity of the area, making Tamatave an important gateway to exploring Madagascar's rainforests and beaches. It is a key location for eco-tourism and a hub for Madagascar’s trade activities.
